Every year, a festival is held in the Sapanca Kırkpınar centre event area; artisans from Sapanca and other provinces and cities exhibit their handcrafts for one week in special stands designed for them.
Many people joins this festival from the villages and neighborhoods of Sapanca. Women especially make embroidery while men make wooden and stone handcrafts. The women exhibit Needle, Sim, Crochet and Lace, Beads, Broach and Shuttle works while men exhibit works from tree roots, authentic tools, decorative products from tree trunks and branches as well as things from jet, marble and meerschaum trees.
